I want to clear a DMA completely. What’s the most convenient way to do this including the databases (Cassandra/Elastic).

Hi Jochen,

The bulk of the data can easily be removed using the DeleteAllDataDMA package, which is available under the c:\Skyline DataMiner\tools folder.

Note that this does not remove everything, but it does take care of most of this.
Details can be found in this dojo question.

Since version 10.0.12 there’s an SLReset tool in the C:\Skyline Dataminer\Files folder
If you execute this from an elevated command prompt, it will do a complete clear of DMA + Database

Hi Tom,
Will the SLReset tool will take care of cleaning both DBs (Cassandra and Elastic)?

You can find detailed information on this tool and everything it does in this article: https://community.dataminer.services/documentation/factory-reset-tool/
