Hi,

only on one server I have the issue that the names of the interfaces are not correct. Where is this defined in Dataminer? I guess it's an old setting.

Wrong names:

Correct names:

Here you can see the mess up:

But both network interfaces are configured the same.

Hi Stefan – not a full answer – but I'd check NetworkAdapters setting in DataMiner.xml – and compare with step 9 here on this page:

https://docs.dataminer.services/dataminer/Administrator_guide/Failover/Configuring_Failover/Failover_configuration_in_Cube.html

I'll follow the thread to get more insights

Hi Stefan,

I have the same issue in our DMS occasionally, usually after performing a system upgrade. The interface names are the ones configured in the Windows environment on the hosting machine; DataMiner is just reading them out and uses the names in this context. Anyway, my solution to the issue is actually to reboot the machine that is having the issue (in your case GER-DMA01-M), and this should fix it.
Not the most sophisticated way to resolve this, but it was enough for me in the past... 😉

Hope this helps!

Hi Nils,

I will give it a try next week to reboot the machine. Thanks for sharing your experience 🙂
