I have a quick question about a web page that we want to display in a map.
It is a config page of a remote modem (1.1.1.1) which is only reachable through the local modem and therefore visible from the DMA server only (1.1.1.2), because of a specific static route).
Iām able to create a shape with the link property #http://1.1.1.1 but since this address is only reachable from 1.1.1.2, it is not displayed when I use a client.
Is there a way to force the shape to display the webpage using the server as source IP ?
Will using the DMA server as a proxy as mentioned in Linking a shape to a video thumbnail | DataMiner Docs help ? TIA š
Hi Arunkrishna,
As far as I know this isn't available out of the box using the browser in the Visual Overview. You'll need to expose this web page to the outside world so that the client can reach it.
Note that DataMiner does support this for video thumbnails.
