Hi All,
Could anyone tell me what Elastic's credentials (user/password) are?
,
Hi Jardel,
By default after an elasticsearch installation the username and password aren't configured. So like Jaime described you can leave the fields blank in the migration tool.
So if nobody configured this you can leave this blank. However it's advised to protect it with a username/password combination.
Hi Thibault, I tried blank but the agent still doesn’t find the Elastic database.
Hi Marieke, I’ll follow your tip for setting a password and let you know if it worked.
Thank you for your help.
Hi Jardel,
You can isntall the ElasticVue plugin (https://elasticvue.com/) to easily test your connection with the elastic db.
This will go smoother dan using the migration tool.
HI Jardel
Try leaving the credentials blank, I did it in the past and it worked for me.
You are using the migration tool, right?
Regards
