Are the DCP Username and DCP Password fields on the Users / Groups page in System Center still used? Can you change someone's username and password for dataminer.services this way?

Hi Marieke, to my knowledge these are indeed still used to access DataMiner updates and connector updates.
I believe that the DCP credentials and the dataminer.services credentials are not the same.

I can imagine that eventually the DCP credentials will not be used in the future anymore.
The intention is that users will be able to push updates (software and connectors) from the dataminer.services indeed.

Correct. Update Center in Cube is the last place which still uses the old DCP accounts, and we are currently in the process of changing this Update Center to use the new dataminer.services account. Should be coming up in one of the next releases (maybe 3 to 6 months from now).
