I have an enquiry relating to Dataminer's 'Path' Shape Data and what is allowed for within its 'ParamiterID' entry data syntax...
Looking at the syntax of the shape data entries within 'Path'; data;Stroke;Fill;StrokeThickness;Tooltip;YAxisUp;bottomLeftX;bottomLeftY;topRightX;topRightY;link
If I use the data example below...
[Param:17/25357,176], 17/25357 being the DMA ID/Element ID, and 176 the parameter ID,
I would like to confirm the correct syntax to use if the parameter in question is from within a table in the element where (for example) the parameter could be called-upon using 176:2 with the :2 being the second entry within a table from within the element. [Param:17/25357,176:2] has been tried but does not work.
In summary, for 'Path' please can you confirm how to specify/indicate a particular entry within an element if that entry lies within a table in that element?
Assuming I understand correctly, the whole path shape data content is located in a table column with ID 176. The index of the cell you want is 2. In that case your param placeholder should look like this: [Param:17/25357,176,2]. Note there is no ":" between the parameter ID and the index, but rather also a ",".
If you want to verify certain things, rather than directly putting your placeholder in your Path shape data, you can always put your placeholder in shape text directly and see what it resolves to if anything. That way it's easier to debug what part of your Visio is incorrect.
Hello, although this DOJO enquiry is a general one, the specific driver that this relates to is the ‘Novelsat 2000’ protocol DMS-DRV-2078 v1.0.2.1. & its Parameter i.d. 428 (DLC Link Margin) – where there can be multiple entries under the reference parameter 428, e.g. 428:1, 428:2, 428:3 etc
Additional detail below from to the ‘Novelsat 2000’ protocol and this parameter are copied below….
