Hello, in an Audio production environment, we would like to manage audio consoles and be able to play the audio streams from Cube (in the same way we display thumbnails in a video production environment). I believe this would be working well, do we have any experience in this field ?
Thanks Glenn !

Yes we’ve done this a couple of times in the past, on the top of my head.
(1) At a customer where the guys in the NOC where obligated to listen to the main radio channels every hour – we basically wrote an automation script connected to our scheduler that tuned the frequencies and pushed the stream through the PC to the speaker output. Every hour automatically all national channels were played for 10seconds – ‘visual’ (listening) inspection automated.
(2) At another customer we’ve something called the “Remote Ear”, where a customer can remotely tune a device and route the signal back over the IPBackbone to the central NOC to play it through the speakers.
(3) At another national broadcaster we had a similar setup, but here we worked through audio-probes – to provide an e2e QoA (Quality of Audio) setup.
For more individual intel, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
