Dojo,
As I understood, the cloud gateway can be moved into a DMZ for example which would put this application unto another server than the Dataminer agent. Can you provide us any resource requirements for this server that handles the cloud gateway inside a DMZ.
Hey Wale,
The specs of this server do not really matter.
But it has to be a windows machine because linux is not yet supported. But if you rather would use a linux machine, feel free to contact Baptiste to check when this could be available, as it should be supported in the future.
The main thing this DMZ server (with CloudGateway on it) will be doing is proxying traffic. So making sure there is a solid stable network connection is the most important part.
Disk usage should be close to non-existent.
CPU and RAM usage should be minimal.
Hi Wale,
Not an answer to your question, but if you configure the DMZ setup, it’s good to verify that the Nats & Nas Firewall Rules on the DataMiner Agents are set to profile ‘Public’ (in some older DataMiner versions they were configured to ‘Domain’, which will block connections from the DMZ).
