Hello Dojo
With reference to the cloud connectivity and security help page. I will like to know the following:

  1. How is client strong authentication implemented ?
  2. Does the cloud support multitenant-isolation between different customers ?
  3. How is data at rest protection ensured ( i.e users data in 3rd party hands. ). Does the controls described by Microsoft, support the multitenant approach ?
    a) Data at rest, during processing ?

Hi Wale

  1. To secure the connection between the Client (here that would be the Cloud Connected DataMiner System) and the DataMiner Cloud Platform we make use of wss and https communication which are both using SLL/TLS.
  2. Our cloud infrastructure is multi-tenant by design but all data access is secured. A customer will always only be able to access his own data when using the DataMiner Cloud Platform.
  3. I do not really understand what is meant by this question, if possible I would like some extra information.
