Dashboards – Is it possible to query a logger table with “parameters for elements where”?

Hi,

I'm trying to display a logger table in a dashboard by using the data source "Get parameters for elements where", but this is throwing an error as shown below. (The protocol used is custom so it might be an error on the table configuration as well)

If I use the data source "Get parameters table by ID", data is shown correctly. The problem is that I need to collect data from multiple elements, so this data source might not fit into my use case.

Thank you!

Hi Sebastian,

As far as I know this is not possible. I believe the best approach in this case is to use an ad-hoc data source to retrieve data from the logger tables.

Hope it helps.

It is indeed a known shortcoming, we have a task (https://collaboration.dataminer.services/task/215026) to follow up on this. Best regards, Ward

Would using an alias here be a potential solution? Or is that only scoped to one element?
