I've noticed that when I draw dashed lines, they are ok in VISIO but not fully rendered in the VISUAL overview close to rounded corners: anything that can be done to adjust the Visual Overview rendering so that it matches the original Visio?

This looks like something that will probably require a fix in the software. Can you create a task on the collaboration platform and attach a Visio file where you have this issue to help us reproduce and investigate this?
There should be a visio sample in task 163011 now.
