Hi Dojo,
Are there any recommended/documented use-cases for the usage of the "Arguments" section available in a CUBE desktop client?
Not using any at present [avoiding to have arguments 😉 Italian humour], but ready to start with some if I can address some of the customized-access challenges in my environment.
Any steer will be helpful, thanks
Hi Alberto,
A useful case is to enable automatic units conversion in your client app.
This way, you will see parameter values like 1.500.000.000 Bps being displayed automatically as 1,500 Gbps. More info about this specific soft-launch feature can be found in DataMiner Docs.
Another typical use case is to start your Cube with a default card open (an element, view, service, app). On the example below, I'm opening my Cube with my view 'Networks' open by default. Then, each user can create shortcuts for the preferred elements/views/services.
All options available are available on this Docs page.
Top notch! Thanks Bruno – worth experimenting with
