Good Morning Dojo,
We had the Arris CMTS Driver version 1.0.46, and we are perceiveing irregular values on the Rate Uncorrectes and Uncorrectable % (High Values like 9379564634), we review the graph of that parameter and we dont see that peak, we want to know if anyone has face this issue before?
Regards
Good Morning,
Anyone has faced the issue/problem?
Regards
Good Afternoon Rene,
Thanks for you answer, we will waiting the update that you mentioned, when you say that you see this issue, if in arris CMTS Drivers?
Regards
Yes, we have seen it in the Arris connectors but will also review the other CMTSs in the catalog in order to understand if we might be looking at a general MIB issue.
Quick update, the issue represented here is with elements that use the Arris CMTS Connector.
That doesn’t invalidate the previous answer, it is still an issue that needs to be investigated.
@Javier, for future occurrences, please include connector and version used to give you faster guidance.
Javier – We have seen this issue, recently, and while the root cause is still under investigation, the workaround is to apply necessary checks for both parameters in question and make sure the connector logic does not make sets outside the expected ranges. The percentage parameter should not be set to anything above 100% and the PPM (packets per million) should not be set with values above 1M.
We see that the calculations, eventually, recover which indicates that we might be looking at unexpected (maybe exception) values coming from the base parameters.
We will update this thread once the root cause has been identified and a solution can be proposed.
