Hi,

SlowTime is not a valid child in Timer.
The only children of Timer that are read out and used by DataMiner are:

  • Time
  • Content
  • Interval
  • Condition

In several protocol.xml's created by Skyline <SlowTime> was noted often as child in <Timers>.
But at that time the version was still 8.x, I think.
Is this <SlowTime> child of <Timers> disapeared in 9.0, 9.6 or 10.1 ?

Michiel Oda [SLC] [DevOps Enabler] commented 22nd November 2024

Based on what I could find internally in old tasks and such, it seems that this was a very early mistake that was copied over from protocol to protocol. As far as I found it had no functionality. The tag was removed from the XSD in 2018 in DIS 2.10.1.9.

Thanks Michiel and Laurens for the info.
