While building up a new Cassandra Cluster to be used with DataMiner, is there any recommendation about the nr of input/output operations per seconds?

As far as I'm aware, a recommended IOPS value can't be given because that depends on the block size of your disk.

Quoting from this page:

  • 4 KiB blocks should be 10 MB/s or higher.
  • 512 KiB blocks should be 300 MB/s or higher.

This refers to the data block size. Note that the requirements Jochen refers to have been moved to https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Reference/DataMiner_Compute_Requirements.html
