When the resources are activated, they are placed in the same view as the parent element. Is there a way to place them on a different view?

Hi Sebastian,

By default, they will be placed in the same view. This behavior can’t be changed.

It’s possible to use the drag and drop editing in your surveyor to move (or copy) them to a different view. They will remain there until the function resource gets disabled.

If you’d like to make sure your function resource returns to the same view when it gets activated again, you might want to have a look at  release note 28884

Hi Sebastian,

Just to share what we did in a specific integration, we have an Interactive Automation Script that takes care of the resource creation with all the properties required.

Last step of the script is to move the resource to a specific view (the view name is configured in the resource pool as a property).

If that’s valuable, maybe we can suggest this behavior to be natively available in the Resources app?
