Hi,

What is the easiest way to be able to run the SLNetClientTest tool | DataMiner Docs on my virtual machine (where no DataMiner is installed)? Which files do I need to be able to run this without a DataMiner?

Thank you!
Jarno

Hi Jarno,

I don’t have an exhaustive list of all the specific files you need.
However, I can confirm the easiest is to just copy over the files folder.

If you believe the files folder contains to much content, you can leave out all the .exe files (except for the client test tool executable) and all subfolders.

Hi Jarno,

Not easy to answer since newer versions will come with new functionalities which might require additional files.

Below a capture of the files I needed for a 10.2.8 DM

TIP: What I typically do is connecting to the server with explorer and open the SLNetClientTest Tool from there.
