The user installed the Skyline Alerter on remote client PC. When the alerter try to connect to the DMA we got the error message below.
On the DMA only the https port 443 is enable. Do you know if the alerter can work with https?
Also, is there another place besides the event viewer to find logs/debug information for the alerter?

I have just checked and SLAlerter supports connecting to HTTPS-only DataMiner systems.
The logging of Alerter is only added to the Eventviewer of Windows but in this case (connection problem) you could also check the logfiles of SLNet to see if it gives you more insights.
It should – just to better understand the scenario: from the machine where you run the alerter, can you connect successfully with the standard CUBE desktop client?
