Automatically show service card in user’s Cube session on new alarm

Hi,

Is there a way to automatically open the service card in an active user’s Cube session (member of a specific group) as soon as a new alarm affecting that service is created?

Thanks in advance,

If the main aim here is to be notified, I'm wondering if a correlation rule sending an email to the targeted group could also serve the same purpose…

The goal is to let active NOC users know right away when a service is impacted by a new alarm by showing it to them immediately in Cube.

Hi Ciprian, rather than opening the Service Card in Cube, why not create a penalty box Visio which populates with services in alarm. This way just a single page is opened with one shape per service.

If you have a correlation rule and automation which opens a new service card for each error, you could cause alarms to be missed once max cube cards are exceeded. Or in a case where there is a router problem and all services alarm, then you have only the last service alarm received card opened.
