Hello,
We are monitoring & controlling AppearTV X20 devices from the dataminer, and we are facing an issue with the decoder cards that the decoder services are not reflecting in the dataminer as per the below screenshot.
After my investigations and checking, I found that the API version of the SDI encoder/decoder configured in the dataminer is not the same as the current API version of the device. As per AppearTV the current API version that they are using for the decoder is 2.45 (check the below snapshot), while the latest API version I can choose in the dataminer is 2.40 (check the below snapshot), so perhaps this mismatch is causing the issue?, and if yes how I can resolve it if there is no option in the dataminer to choose higher version than 2.40?
Looking forward to hear from you.
Thank you.
Hello Mohammad,
This issue has been resolved in the latest version of the protocol. So, deploy the latest version (in the 1.2.4.X range) from the catalogue and that should work fine.
As a side note and for your other question, for Dataminer to use the latest API version for all cards, set the 'Auto-Detect API' parameter to 'On'.
Those two versions (1.2.4.3_B2 and 1.2.4.2_B4) are not official versions. Most likely those were test versions. Since those are not official versions, you will not find them on catalogue. An official/released driver version will have the skyline icon in front of it when you check it on the Protocols and Templates module.
The 1.2.4.21 is the latest version which has the fix.
Thank you for your answer Fenta.
We already have 1.2.4.3_B2 and 1.2.4.2_B4, I checked in the catalog and I didn’t find those 2 version there, and the latest version I found from the catalog in the 1.2.4.x versions is 1.2.4.21, so which one from those versions are the latest and will resolve the issue?
Thank you.
