Is it possible to link an alarm filtering to a visio page or a shape such that only the alarms on that filter can color code the shape?
For the particular use case we have a world view screen where alarms bubble up to all the shapes linked to views on that visio. By default alarms masked don't bubble up, however, we'd like the same behaviour for alarms that contain a specific property such as "acknowledged", contain a comment in the property, or have a TroubleTicket associated to it, which is another way of marking these alarms as "no longer important" equivalent to the masking, managing it in an alarm filter and preventing from bubbling up on that screen.
Hi Miguel
Would it be dynamic enough to link only with the subset of the surveyor where the visio is attached? i.e. alarm bubble up, having the same visio applied on multiple views?
Hi Elvio,
Following up this question, I believe this is not possible. You will need to create an alarm filter for each view. I was planning to suggest to use wildcards in the option 'sharedfiltername' but as far as I know this option does not support wildcards.
A possible option to support multiple views is to add a new page per view, however this is not optimal when scaling to multiple views.
Keep in mind that you can always use the option 'Active alarms linked to cards' to show dynamically active alarms linked to the component selected in the surveyor
Hope it helps.
Thanks for clarifying, yes, that would be the case.
Hi Elvio,
Maybe an option could be using Linking a shape to an alarm filter (https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Basic_Functionality/Visio/linking_shapes/Linking_a_shape_to_an_alarm_filter.html)
