Ability to reload SNMP cache, clear the SNMPv3 properties (engine time, engine boots, engine id)

Hello,

we have a problem with a system of one specific vendor.
Each time that system reboots, EngineTime in their SNMPv3 traps is reset but EngineBoots not incremented.  The result is that Dataminer stops processing those traps.
We asked the vendor to fix that and comply to the RFC but in the meantime I want to avoid restarting the complete dataminer agent every time.

Is there a posibility to discard the engineBoots/engineTime properties for a specific engine ID/hostadress?

We currently cannot help you out, there is no option to discard these properties.  Hope you receive a patch soon.

Too bad,
There is also no possibility in just restarting a certain (SL)Process instead of the complete DMA?

Vendor patch won’t come unfortunately.
Vendor claims that incrementing the EngineBoots counter is not a mandatory function in SNMPV3 and in their opinion they do not violate the protocol requirements.
