In the spotlight: DataMiner tutorials & connector  documentation

The homepage of docs.dataminer.services (a.k.a. the place for all DataMiner-related information) is expanding! You can now conveniently navigate to our collection of immersive DataMiner tutorials and to the ever-growing connector documentation, recently migrated to GitHub.

DataMiner tutorials

The recent Bringing the Thunder initiative has skyrocketed the popularity of the DataMiner tutorials. Therefore, we’ve streamlined all tutorials into one convenient location within the DataMiner Docs.

Additionally, we have organized them into different categories, so you can effortlessly find the specific tutorial you need.

DataMiner connector documentation

Everyone can now contribute to the connector documentation through our dedicated open-source GitHub repository! Whether you want to create your own connector documentation or enhance existing pages, you can earn DevOps Points for all valuable contributions.

Similar to our tutorials, this newly introduced section in the documentation significantly improves findability. The connector documentation offers an overview of all available connectors, making it easier for users to navigate and explore.

Not only have we compiled an overview of all tutorials in the new section, we’ve also integrated them into the relevant segments of the user guide. So, whenever you delve into a new topic, you will also see any tutorials related to that very topic.

As part of the Bringing the Thunder learning journey, some of our tutorials offer you the opportunity to earn DevOps Points upon completion. Each week, a new Empower Kata is released, often linked to an existing tutorial in the DataMiner Documentation. If this applies, completing the tutorial earns you 75 DevOps Points. Moreover, if you manage to finish it within a week of the Bringing the Thunder premiere day, you can even pocket an additional 75 points.
