Hello Dojo,
Some negative numbers are shown in the alarm counts session of the Alarm Console: what's the correct interpretation for these, please?
With reference to
1) When is a negative Timeout count expected in the alarm count at the bottom of the alarm console? Could it be the outcome of any alarm suppression / alarm correlations?
2) What it means to have a +1 or +2 Pending RTE?
What's the meaning of the "+-1" in this context?
Thanks
Hi Alberto,
In the alarmcounts for the alarmconsole you should never see a negative number. The negative number could indeed result from correlation or alarm suppression.
The "-1 pending" seems an issue as well at first sight. I would suggest to get in touch with your Skyline representative so we can investigate what goes wrong on your DMS.
Thanks for your feedback, Michaël
Will log a case on the collaboration portal.
But rather than for the specific RTE issue, my curiosity is also around the “+-1” pending message: … is it “zero” pending in the end? Or should it be just an integer number?
This is what is a bit unclear on our end
Hi Alberto,
It should be an integer number.
Thanks Michaël – I’ve added 190361 so that the assigned squad can further look into it.
