Hi non-programmer here
How are devices that require login credentials on their IP interface dealt with? Is this where the ssh username and pwd come in?
Hi Bethany,
There are of course different types of IP interfaces, SSH being one of them. But in general, if credentials are required, you'll indeed have to provide a username and password in DataMiner when configuring the element. Then DataMiner can successfully login on the IP interface to query the necessary information.

Hello, I’ve been looking into credentials and I was wondering what the options are for being able to view real-time parameters on a device whose IP interface requires a username and password.
So far I have come across ssh username and pwd and Sessions. For ssh, I’m not sure if the actual username and password are entered in the param protocol of the device, username/password, or somewhere else.
