Hi,

Dataminer alerter generates alarm but the sound was not there. Kindly help to fasten the troubleshooting.thanks

Hi Germanico,

The clients running Alerter need to have Windows Media Player installed in order to have the sound played. Besides the installation it needs to be opened at least once, so the settings are configured as well. Taking the recommended settings of Windows Media Player is sufficient.

I restarted the windows media player and now its working.
