I am in the process of installing the DM software in the fresh server. While installing the DM software I have entered the wrong DMA ID. Is there any option to change the DMA ID to proceed with the further installation and licensing? or should I need to remove the software and reinstall?
You could also change the ID attribute of the <DataMiner> tag inside C:\Skyline DataMiner\DataMiner.xml. After restarting DataMiner (with SLTaskbarUtility) a new Request.lic file will be generated (which will then allow you to request a license).
Assuming your DMA is still in a cleanly installed state (so you haven’t created any elements, didn’t cluster it with other agents,…), it should be safe (and much faster).

Since you will need to generate again the request file (request.lic) with the correct DMA ID, I believe the best option is to remove and install again DataMiner.
