Is it possible to play the following path sound in the client when shape is displayed in "Show" syntax etc.?
C:\\Windows\Media
It would be even more wonderful if could also choose looping, number of plays, etc.

Next to the options mentioned by Miguel, there is also an option to have audible alerts feature available in DataMiner cube.
Please find below a sample configuration.

As far as I know this is not supported.
A possible workaround is using the DMS Alerter. The alerter is a system tray application that can be used to play sounds in the client when an alarm is generated in the DMS.
