Hi,
I am trying to create a task in the Scheduler module, however everytime I configure a new task and try to add it, nothing happens, the task is not created and the Scheduler taks list remains empty.
On SLNet.txt, only the request is logged (one entry for each time I tried to add a task to the list):
On SLDataMiner.txt, there is nothing logged for the timestamp when I tried to create the task:
Previously I tried to follow the request/response messages with the Client Test Tool, but only got the same message seen on SLNet:
The user has permissions to use the Scheduler module:
What more can be done to troubleshoot this issue?
Is there any configuration that might be missing?
Thank you for your help.
Hey João,
The requests look correct and your setup should work from what I can tell.
You could check the following
- SLScheduler.txt logfile
- Windows event viewer
Errors might be reported in there which could lead you to a root cause
Hi João,
Is there any additional information in the SLScheduler.txt?
Does the task you tried to schedule show up in the windows Task Scheduler of the server you were working on?
Hi Michiel, thank you for the help.
We found out it was due to the license. Upon updating it and restarting the DMA all started to work well.
Hi Brent, thank you for the help. In the meantime we found the error, it was due to the license.
For some reason I was able to login to DataMiner but on the license did not show any modules.
I updated the Request.lic and it showed two additional MACs. Upon updating the license and installing it, I restarted the DMA and all works well now.
