I've seen a demo of a DataMiner chatbot integrated into Microsoft Teams. Is this functionality already generally available and, if so, is there any documentation available of how to set this up for my DataMiner agent? Also, are there any similar integrations available with other collaboration apps, such as Slack?
Hey Reinout,
This functionality is not available yet. It is still on the roadmap of the Sherpa squad. It's not yet known in which dataminer version this will be available.
Kind regards,
We have done an integration in 2018 with Slack for a customer in the US which is in production. The latter was a custom deployment via a "Slack driver".
- a slack user can send commands to DataMiner to execute actions within the DataMiner platform
- Slack users also automatically receive messages and alarms – events - from DataMiner in real-time
- DataMiner automation engine is used to execute parameters control up to complex scripts
- DataMiner correlation engine is used to define an event and its conditions to get a notification in Slack
