Currently, a DataMiner System deploys one or more DataMiner Agents where each DMA has its own local Cassandra cluster as well as a connection towards an Elasticsearch cluster which is shared among the DMAs in the DMS.
As the major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, etc.) have recently deployed (or are in process of deploying) a managed Cassandra service or managed Elasticsearch service, could DataMiner support hosting the local database(s) in the cloud this way?
While DataMiner currently supports several cloud database services, we highly recommend using DataMiner STaaS, which will be available soon.
I don't know the answer to your question, however, we do have an AWS sandbox setup that we could use to do some testing. Email me for details.
