Access Dashboards/LCA variables in GQI

Solved72 views2 days agoGQI GQI queries variables

Variables, especially of type table, can be very useful in Dashboards/LCAs.

In GQI, they can be used to filter other data sources. However, it is currently not possible to GET a variable to combine with another data source.

In the example below, I would like to JOIN these two tables (one is from a query, the other from a table variable).

Can someone please confirm this is currently NOT possible. What are your thoughts on supporting a GET VARIABLE datasource in GQI?

My interest in variables comes from how easy it is to define them, which is important when prototyping new ideas.

User Story: As the creator of a dashboard/LCA, I want to simulate data quickly to use in my queries in combination with other data sources.

Hi Miguel,

This isn’t possible at the moment.

That said, several people have requested it, so there’s clear interest in having this feature. I’ve added it to our backlog, and I’ll post an update here if it were to become available.
