I checked the event viewer and found this error: "Startup DataMiner failed @ LaunchDataMiner. The MAC address is not licensed (hr = 0x80040291)".
My server is a Virtual Machine.
Could you please open a ticket for this check so I can have the DMS licensed again? I still have the "Response.lic" file.

You might be able to find errors in SLWatchdog2.txt in the Logging folder found in Skyline DataMiner to see why the license is being rejected.
I would create a support ticket to reach out to Techsupport to further investigate or reissue the license file.

The SLDataminer.txt log file should also give more details if you are having license issues. More details on how to troubleshoot it here :

Good that you found the root cause of the issue. To fix this a new license would have to be issued to match the new MAC address.
As I do not have the specifics to your account. Could you reach out to tech support from your end or reach out to the TAMs in the squad that you normally work with?
