Hello All,
We have alot of info alarms which we want to suppress. Is this possible (See below info alarms we want to stop from being raised)
Thanks,
Ryan
First, let me mention that with that alarm filter, you could be hiding a serious issue in your DMA/DMS, especially with the "DataMiner Agent Lost" and the "Database".
Now to your question, one way to do this is to create an alarm filter, as described here: Applying alarm filters in the Alarm Console | DataMiner Docs
Note that for the mentioned alarm descriptions you can use the following filter:
I also recommend you watch this video: Alarm Console - Advanced filtering - DataMiner Dojo
If you want this new alarm tab to always appear in your Alarm Console, you should set up the Alarm Console as you wish and log out of the Cube. We save the settings when you log out, not when you close the Cube.
If this needs to be applied to more users, I recommend reading this: Working with workspaces | DataMiner Docs
Hi,
It's not possible to stop those alarms of being raised. They are always generated by DataMiner and serve as audit trailing.
As Luis also mentioned in his answer, it might be worth looking at some of those if they occur too often, e.g. DataMiner Agent lost. I would not expect this one to happen that often.
Information events like new client registered could also be useful for audit trailing if you need to track something.
Therefore DataMiner does not immediately have the option to disable those information events...
