Restore Dataminer Backup and router drivers

Hi,

I’ve just rebuilt a Dataminer cluster that has a Virtual Matrix and a GV Convergent elements.

If I restore the backup I took before the rebuild, will it make crosspoints on these router elements, or will it just read the current state from the router?

The routers are also controlled from outside of Dataminer, so I don’t want to wipe out any routers set by our playout automation, as that leads to misery and paperwork!

Thanks, my question was more about how the router drivers would behave when restoring a backup… Fortunately they behaved sensibly and didn’t fire a bunch of crosspoints!
