Hi Dojo,

I have the following Element Redundancy Group:

  • 1 Main Element
  • 1 Failover Element

We want to create resources on the Virtual Element, and book these resources.

Is this supported? And when the Virtual Element switches from Main to Backup, will the resource then also move along and everything work okay?

Hi Stacey,

Function resources can’t be generated from a virtual element.

Alternative is to define a regular resource and link it to the Virtual Element of your Redundancy Group. That way you’ll be able to schedule your resource ( Resource Scheduling) ; however , you won’t be able to use the standard Profile-Load scripting feature.

Hi Stacey,

Redundancy groups are currently not supported by SRM.
