Why isn’t my Element Type filled in?

Hi Dojo,

I have a connector in which I've defined ElementType Beacon Receiver.

However, when creating an element I noticed that this isn't filled in.

How is this possible?

Hi Jens,

Is it possible that you created the element first and updated the Element Type in the protocol afterwards?

As far as I can see, new elements get the ElementType as defined in the protocol copied over to their element.xml configuration file. If the ElementType value in the protocol gets updated afterwards, these changes are not reflected in previously existing elements.

Hi Wouter, I’m creating the element by making use of Class Library. Creating the element manual does have the ElementType value filled in. I know enough to open a ticket. Thank you for the guidance!
