Hi,

When you create a property on e.g. an element you can define a list of possible values.

For those values you can define a Metric. What exactly does this metric signify? And where can it be used?

I looked on the docs page here: Managing element properties | DataMiner Docs but couldn’t find an explanation on this.

Hope someone can help me out. Thanks.

Hi Wouter,

If I am not mistaken it determines the order of the values listed in the drop down list. The lowest number will be displayed on top:

Hope it helps.

Thanks Miguel!

More importantly, it allows for accurate sorting in e.g. the alarm console. Putting e.g. “High” above “Medium” and that above “Low”.
