Hi,

I've just built a DMS, using the 10.4 installer and some Ansible scripts. As part of the scripts, they set the X-Frame-Options and X-Content-Type-Options headers in the web.config file in C:\Skyline Dataminer\webpages. This is as per the BPA recommendations and https://docs.dataminer.services/dataminer/Administrator_guide/Security/Advanced_security_configuration/WebServer_security/HTTP_Headers.html

Once clustered, the (still virgin) DMA was upgraded to 10.5.12. This removed the custom settings recommended by the BPA. Easy enough to resolve, but it would be preferrable if these settings were not lost when an upgraded is applied.

Please can these settings be made the default, as per the BPA recommendations?

Hi Chris,

I understand that it's inconvenient having to apply the same settings after each upgrade. I also agree that you shouldn't even have to configure these settings, they should be the default.

I believe this item is already somewhere on the backlog, but I'll check with the development team to see if we can raise priority.

Kind regards,
