While coding in Visual Studio and successfully connected to DataMiner, we've noticed that when any exception occurs, generally, such as incorrect authentication or a network/firewall issue, etc....Visual Studio hangs or crashes completely. This requires us to force-close and restart the application.
Is this expected behavior?

This is not expected behavior. Can you contact TechSupport so we can further investigate the issue? Please also provide any useful info such as the stack trace, Visual Studio and DIS version used, reproduction steps, etc.
