I have below notice on my Visual Overview:

In your Visio drawing, you have reached the maximum number of shapes (100). Some views, elements or services might be missing.

How can I configure the maximum number of shapes? Will this have a big impact on general performance? What's best practice?

The maximum number of shapes can be configured in the 'Visual Overview' page of the user settings.

This setting is used by the children shape which can dynamically generate a shape based on a certain source collection. It is introduced to protect the user from accidently creating thousands of shapes when linking it to a source (e.g. a large table).

Increasing this setting can have some side affects like a freezing UI, large memory footprint or a deteriorated performance.
