Visio Editing – How to Display the number of active/stopped elements available from the root view

Hello,

Dataminer is able to retreive the amount of "active/stopped" element from the view "RootView/Data/Elements". I would like to pull this data into a Visio page.

I'm used to work with protocol parameters to extract information but in this is different because this data is not compute by a protocol i guess.

Is there a different way to display this number?

Hi Killian,

If you would like to get the total amount of elements under a view you could use the Info shape data. For example you can add the following shape data in the shape representing the view:

View: MyTestView
Info: VIEW STATISTICS:[#TotalElements]

I would like to get the amount of “active” element only. For what i understand from your procedure it is not about Element state right ?
