View or Element with the same Name

I want to create an element or view with the same name for management.

Is there a way to allow Surveyor to allow duplicate names?

Hi Yuki,

I am afraid that this is not possible at the moment. DataMiner does not allow to create two elements (or views) with the same name.

However, there is a way to have two elements with the same name in the context of a service layer. When creating a service, you can define an alias to the element included in the service. For example:
