Uninstalling a DMA – Does Cloud Pack need to be uninstalled separately?

Hi Dojo,

When I'm uninstalling an agent using a 10.2 Installer, or using a manual procedure, do I need to uninstall the Cloud Pack via Programs and Features in Windows? Will I have any adverse effects if I leave the Cloud Pack running on a repurposed server, or if I reinstall the DataMiner agent later on?

Hi Alexander

at the moment you will indeed need to remove the Cloud Pack installation manually. If you leave the installation it will not impact the server in any way. Since there is no DataMiner agent to connect to, the services will not have any functionality.

If you reinstall a DataMiner agent then it will keep the Cloud identity of the previously installed agent so that might be an unwanted side effect.
