Traps – Hysteresis

Hello,

I would like to add Hysteresis on for Warnings and it is not working as expected. Could someone confirm whether it is possible to put a hysteresis on traps in the alarm template?

Issue: The alarms are being triggered before the hysteresis time.

Hello Ramesh,

The configuration shown here looks to be okay. We can see a line under the Warning value, which indicates the HYST-ON is applied.

I did a test where I applied a HYST-ON of 10 seconds on the Warning value.

Here I simulated the value going from "0" -> "5" -> "10" -> "0" -> "5"

You can here see the expected behavior. The alarm only appears after 10 seconds when we have the 'Warning'. For all others it happens instantly.

If you are not experiencing the same, please try it with a lower HYST-ON time to see if that would make any difference. And if so this can be reported to support.

Kind regards,
