Similar to following information we’re looking for an overview of system requirements per DataMiner version (9.6, 10.0, 10.1), as the link only specifies the information for the latest DataMiner version.

DataMiner Compute Requirements

If an upgrade is done, where can it be checked if the OS is still supported?
In this case specifically we’re looking for information on which OS is required for DM10.0, and where this information can be found.

The Compute Requirements page is indeed lacking this info for now.

For older versions, for now the best place to look is the DataMiner Help which is included in that package, in the “Software Requirements for DataMiner Servers” section.

For DataMiner 10.0, it lists:

DataMiner Professional Edition => Windows 8/10 Professional, or Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 Standard Edition

DataMiner Enterprise Edition => Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 Standard Edition

DataMiner CPE Edition => Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 Standard Edition

For DataMiner 9.6:

DataMiner Professional Edition => Windows 7/8/10 Professional, or Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 Standard Edition

DataMiner Enterprise Edition => Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 Standard Edition

DataMiner CPE Edition => Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 Standard Edition
