When installing all DxM's on your DataMiner node:
- Does this impact what the minimal system requirements are for the DM server? (https://community.dataminer.services/documentation/dataminer-system-requirements/)
- If a DxM uses a significant amount of memory/CPU, can this impact the performance of the DataMiner software on the same server? Are their limitations on how much resources the DxM can consume?
- Can a DxM be installed on a server that doesn't have DataMiner installed, but has connection to DataMiner?
I think it all depends what for DxMs there will be released in the future. At the moment the existing DxMs don't do much processing, so you don't really need additional system requirements to be able to run them. In the near future some DxMs might also get auto-installed when installing DataMiner. We might also move some existing DataMiner functionality to DxMs to make it possible to update them separately from DataMiner core.
There are no limits on how much resources a DxM can consume. Although I think the performance impact of the DxMs is nothing compared to what users consume through the DxMs and DataMiner has to handle.
Most DxMs expect to run on a local DMA. The DataAggregator DxM is an exception and can run on a standalone server.
connecting to dataminer.services can be done via a DMZ setup and via a proxy server. In those cases some DXMs need to be on the DMZ or proxy server and not on a DataMiner Agent.

Separate cloud packs for those setups are available since recently , can be found here.
