SRM – Changing resource alarm template according to service status

Hi,
We were wondering that would it be possible to activate different alarm template on a resource used by a service while it has been activated by SRM and change it back to no monitoring state / default Alarm template after the resource reservation has been ended? If this is possible, what are the needed steps / components to achieve this?

Hi Juho,

One option would be to use the condition in the alarm template.

e.g. You can disable an alarm rule if the service impact is lower than 1.
In other words, you can make sure some alarm rules are only applied when there is service impact (which is typically the case when a reservation is active).

Below is a sample configuration of such a rule in an alarm template.
