Hi Dojo,

We are trying to make a Spectrum Channel Power measurement using the following settings. However, we are not seeing any readings returned when the monitor script runs?

Spectrum Settings and Trace returned:

Monitor script for Channel Power

Test script for just Average Level between frequencies:

Monitor setup for Channel Power:

Monitor setup for average level:

Results showing Not Initialized:

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,

Can you try setting the start/stop frequency references in Hz rather than MHz?
I performed a small test, and the new parameter value gets initialized if the frequency references are set in Hz.

Hope it helps.

Hi Miguel,

I did try that initially, however, the Create Freq Reference does not allow any input greater than 1000000000 Hz. So for 1010MHz and 1050MHz we require the monitor script does not allow 1010000000Hz or 1050000000Hz input. I agree, seems like the setting is in Hertz from your example, however, the range needs to be extended then.

Steve Purcell [SLC] [DevOps Advocate] commented 30th January 2026

The problem reported was an issue with the frequency reference boundaries. This has since been corrected in Cube version 10.6.3.0 being released soon. 100MHz to 1000THz now supported.
