Hello Community - looking into SNMP forwarding, following from this initial check:
is it possible to forward all the columns of an alarm console entry as part of a trap?
Ideally, would there be also way to send also correlation tracking info when the source is the correlation engine of a DMA?
Any steer will be helpful - Currently relying on this sample set-up between SNMP Forwader & Trap Receiver:
Thanks

Hi Alberto,
Any alarm property in the system can be added as a binding to your trap.
You must choose the "use custom bindings with oid" option to do this.
Once you select this, you can use the custom bindings section to select which alarm properties (columns) you want in your trap.
You can also generate a MIB file for the resulting trap definition using the button available under the trap binding definitions.
Hi Alberto,
There is no limit to the number of bindings (as far as I’m aware).
I tested this locally and could add 95 bindings to my trap.
The pop-up shown in the screenshot is visible when you already added all available properties to your trap.
I got it – so my limit must be 80 as I must have less alarm properties in my system. Top notch, Ive – thank you very much for your help
Thanks for the prompt feedback, Ive
Am I correct the max amount of OIDs defined is “80”? After that it seems not possible to add anything – so once I’ve reached 80, does it mean I’m sending all the possible info associated with an alarm?
